The Common Written Examination, conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, for recruitment of Probationary Officer is based on the following subject areas:
  • English Composition:
Essay Writing
Precis Writing
Letter Writing
  • English Language
  • General Mathematics (Quantitative Aptitude)
  • General Awareness
  • Computer

Questions, apart from English Composition, will be of Objective type and there will be a provision of negative marking of 25% of the mark assigned to the particular question.
