can i apply for BCA cet examinations?

As per BCA-CET exam guidelines candidates must have maths as one of the subject in high school examination. you have described subjects, but it does not includes maths so according to exam norms its not as per rules.don't worry every problem has a solution, you can prepare for maths high school exam (from same board you have passed high school), take the exam and get qualified in that, show the documents along with maths qualified marksheet at the time of councelling .you will get your dream comes true.

i am in maharastra preparing for CET. but i want to take admission for BCA course. so Is CET is necessary for BCA? and which college in maharastra is famous and provides good apportunity in future?

Eligibility criteria of BCA CET:

The minimum educational qualification required to get admission in BCA is a pass in 12th with at least 50% marks.

Most of the colleges need either maths or computer as one of the subjects in 12th and also english as a compulsory subject.

Though some colleges do not need this criteria.

Some colleges conducts their own entrance exam while some seeks admission on the basis of merit.

** You are eligible because you have a combination of english and computer.

You should complete 12th standard from any recognised state board of india with atleast 50% marks.

In 12th standard the main subjects are either computer or maths.

what is the syllabus for bca -cet 2012 ?

As in for maths its 11th n 12th but for comp. awareness n G.K [IT related] wats the basic syllabus

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi has announced the exam dates for Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) for BCA program, which will be held in the month of May 2012. The entrance exam will be conducted on Saturday, May 19, 2012.

IPU CET BCA 2012 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have a 10+2 degree from a recognized university with aggregate of 50% marks.
