I am 2nd year Civil Eng. student in NIT Surathkal. I would like to do summer training during April-May 2011 in L&T (in or nearby) MUmbai. Kindly advice.

Hiiiiii Friend,

Only 3rd & 4th year candidates are eligibile for Summer training in L&T.

Procedure to do summer training in L&T are as follows: -

Contact training & placement officer of your college regarding summer training in L&T and through your college you may contact to the personnel department OR HR department of L&T.


The personnel department Or HR department of L&T helps & guide you regarding summer training, summer training schedule, summer training duration etc.

Dear friend yes you can do apply in this company first you make one letter from your college to training and placement department.............

then you send that letter in L&T company and after 7-15 days he give reply to you................then you can go for summer training.............

but in 2nd year training is not necessary but you want to do then you can go for learn something then there is no any problem................

the letter format should be this type...........

I am not sure whether L&T provided summer training to the students of 2nd year.
However, its worth trying.

Look first of all you need to send your resume, along with a request letter to the HR manager of L&T Infrastructure, requesting then to provide you summer training.

If they send you an acknowledgement letter, get it signed by the head of your institute, get a college seal on it and send it back along with an NOC which you can obtain from the T&P Cell in your college.
