i want to prepare myself for these exams. So plz send me the syllabus for Jr.executive ATC exam

Well priya,

AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER

AAI conducts two exams every year. theya are
Junior Executive ATC and Junior Executive Electronics.
Minimum qualification for these posts are as -

ELIGIBILITY

Engineering Degree in Electronics / Tele Communication /Radio Engg. / Electrical with Specialization in Electronics with Ist class (60%) OR M.Sc Degree

Its equivalent with wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engg. as a special Subject. OR Equivalent with 1st Class
(50% for SC/ST).

PATTERN

Exam duration = 2hrs
& Exam papers consists of two section

• Technical section and
• non Technical section.

There will be 150 questions or sometimes 100 questions.
because questions are not fixed.
if more number of questions there then it will be easy paper.

SYLLABUS

Technical section contains 55% to 60%
questions from

• electronics,
• communication,
• microwave,
• digital electronics,
• control system,
• computer,
• information technology

Non Technical questions contains 45% to 40 % questions from

• general knowledge,
• English language,
• reasoning and
• general mathematics.

hi priya can u pls tell me the eligibility fr these exams.i'm in my final year of engg.is it the aggregate of all sem or the final year percentage.thanks

Atc exam pattern is optional or written or both? If both then how much questions are optional and written.

Final year candidates are not eligible for applying ATC, well you can apply for JUNIOR EXECUTIVE and you can specify the percentage of your last three years (i.e. six semesters) .

The Jr. Executive ATC Exam mainly consist of questions from Technical as well as from general Aptitude.
Sections in Exam:-
1.Reasoning
2.English language,
3.Quantitative Aptitude
4.General Knowledge
5. technical related to Electronics and communication

Reasoning Ability by R.S. Agarwal
Quantitative Aptitude by R.S Agarwal
Wren and Martin for elementary English
Newspaper and Magazines like pratiyogita Darpan and Competition Success

Electronics Basics by J.B Gupta
Wireless Communication by Rappaport
