i want to know detailsly about the syllabus of b.ftech degree ofered by nift, can i prepare for it without any coaching, as there is no time now ?, so plz sugest me about the apparel production degree syllabus and how cud i prepare: plz quick. thanks.

NIFT entrance is a combination of aptitude test and verbal test And CAT.
For the first two R.S.aggrawl books for reasoning are good
and you get collection of previous papers from market of different publishers
FOR CAT; creativ eability test you have to have good sketching skills and understanding of colour

NIFT is divided into two sections

1.General Ability test(GAT)
2.Creative Ability test(CAT)

The first part i.e GAT consists of Quantitative Ability,Communication Ability,Comprehension,General Knowledge,Analytical Ability.
Both the question papers have equal weightage i.e 40% each and 20% for the skill ability test.

You can prepare for it without coaching according to your convenience else you can go for coaching Institutes like Academy of Fashion and Design.

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has no particular set of syllabus. Questions are asked to check the aptitude of students in all fields .It has four sections :
(1)Quantitative Ability(Algebra, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Rate of Interest e.t.c)
(2)Communication Ability(, words with corresponding meanings, antonyms, singular, plural e.t.c)
(3)Business domain
(4)Logical Ability

The Test Paper is divided into 4 section :

Quantitative Ability - This part comprises of question from MAths and Computer. Calculus, Differential Equations, Probability, Statistics and Computer Applications.

Communication Ability - This part check the language ability of students in English.

Analytical Ability - It test your ability of how you analyse a certain given passage. it has question on General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

Creative Ability Test - It contains question with illustrations and fugure. This is to check you observation power and your judgement skills.
