VAO(Village Administrative Officer) exam conducted by TNPSC. Date of VAO entrance exam was 20 feb 2011.you are late. IF you are intrested to know about VAO entrance exam and syllabus i will tell you about VAO eligibility criteria- Eligibility for TNPSC Village Administrative Officer Exam: Age Limit for TNPSC Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Examination: As on 01-07-2006 (A) Must have completed 21 years (For all)(i.e. Should have been born on or before 01-07-1985) and (B) Must not have completed * 40 years for SCs,STs,MBCs/DCs, BCs and Destitute Widows of all castes (i.e., should have been born on or after 02-07-1966) * 30 years for 'others' (i.e., should have been born on or after 02-07-1976) Educational Qualification for TNPSC Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Exam: As on 26-12- 2006. Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C. Public Examination with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies or its equivalent or higher qualification. SYLLABUS OF VAO ENTRANCE EXAM
You are little late in the sense that the VAO exam was conducted on 20th february 2011. but it can be really helpful if you are thinking to appear in next exam. The syllabus basically contains : (1)The General Knowledge, (2)Current Events, (3)General English (4)And Mental Ability Test This exam is standard and not very easy to crack so you need a hard labour to crack it . the most important is your hard labour . hard labour is the key of success of any exam. I had atttached the pdf file containing the full syallabus of VAO. and a word file containing the model.
