I am Persuing ME (Instrumentation ) engineering now and would like to choose a teaching career so what are the opportunities for a fresher in teaching line and when and where can i start from ?

If you are interested in the teaching profession you will need to first complete your Masters. After that you must appear for the NET exam. You can appear for this exam even when you are in the final year. You can start preparing for the exam along with the Masters course. You can refer to sample papers to get an idea of the exam pattern.

Is NET exam compulsory for any private colleges or is it just for government based colleges ?

You can apply through proper channel on the month of APRIL TO JUNE (ODD Semester - Academic year starting)

Or

NOV - DEC (Even semester).

Iwant to do masters in geography 2013,Iarleady have DEgree in geography and environmental management,Diploma in environmental education ,PGCE from recognised universities,University of kwazulu natal S.Africa,Makerere university based in uganda,Ihave more than ten years experience when it comes to Environmental subjects,All in all will I be able to get a scarship/bursary.

an m.tech appearing student from iit is eligible for lecturer post in iit ?
