Actually i wanted to know is there any entrance exam for mca ?
I m commerce student, scored more than 60% with maths as special subject & doing graduation .
So is there any cat exam to giv or any other entrance exam ?
Plz help i m totally confused.

There are lots of MCA entrance exams. Different universities conducts different MCA entrance exams.

Eligibility for MCA is you need to have Mathematics at your 10+2 level, or you should have BCA at your graduation level.

Following is the list of some of the entrance exams conducted by different universities:

1. NIMCET NIT MCA Entrance Test

2. ICET

3. University of Delhi MCA Admission

4. Banaras Hindu University MCA entrance

5. Banasthali Vidyapith

6. Govt. of Karnataka PGCET

7. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations - MCA

8. Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore - MCA

9. Professional Examination Board, M.P. - (Pre-MCA)

10.University of Hyderabad - MCA

11.Punjab University, Chandigarh (OCET)

Hi friend,

There are many entrance exams in india conducted for joining in MCA by

different university. Since there is no space i have made an attachment which

will give you the list of entrance exams for MCA in india.

If you have complited 12th with mathematics or you have complited BCA then you are eligible to write MCA entrance exams .

Every University conducts different MCA entrance exams .
You can write
1. WBJEE-MCA entrance exam,
2.NIMCET NIT - MCA entrance test.
3.VIT-MCA entrance exam.
Etc.

To get admission in MCA you have to give the entrance exam which is to be conducted at the national and state level every year.
Many universities are conducting the entrance exam to enrol in them. So I think without any entrance exam you can’t get admission in MCA.

There is no all India level exam for MCA.
However different universities and college conducts exam for MCA admission.
There are some universities which conducts MCA entrance test -

Shimla

Baddi University

Punjab University
Chandigarh

Chitkara University

There are lots of entrance exams for MCA conducted by different university and state board like-

Don't confuse my dear friend.if you want to mca you need to write a entrance exam as per state wise.if you take example of andhrapradesh having test name of i-cet.another states having another names.so every year notification release so please concentrate on newspaper.don't confuse thinking cool you will get good rank .all the best

hii friend...NIMCET,,ICET are some of the exams for mca entrance...in addition to these there are local exams in each state.........
