Hii..this is karthick...I m studying in B.E mechanical 2nd year...I would like to join Indian army to service our nation..but I have six fingers in right hand so I am a handicapper... But it is not a major defect...so plz give me the deatils about this prblm...

# Indian Army has fixed physical fitness eligibility criteria. There is no any compromise on physical and medical fitness level of candidates.

#Followings few major required physical and medical fitness parameters are:

* Candidate must have good mental health i.e. must not be insane or mad.
* Must have 157.5 cm of height for male candidates and 152 cm for female candidates.
* Chest of male candidate must be of 85 cm (expanded) and 80 cm (unexpanded).
* Candidate must be able to hear the whisper at a distance 610 with both ears one by one.
* Must not have enlargement in liver and spleen.
* Must be free from varicocele, piles and hydrocele.
* Must not have disease hernia.
* Must not have colour blindness and night-blindness.
* Candidate must not be over-weight.
* Candidate must not be under-weight.
* Eye sight of the candidate must be 6/6 in good eye and 6/9 in worst eye.
* There is no any orthopaedic defect in the candidate.
* Candidate must be free from diseases like diabetes, blood pressure problems, cardio-vascular diseases, varicose vein, arthritis etc.
* Must not have Flat Feet.
* Must not have Knock Knee.
* Candidate must not have tattoo in the body.

HSC is necessary for join army after Engineering?
