dear friend,

For Instrumentation department have many scope in govt sector. but in private sector their is huge scope.

they can join in the given below govt sector

1.rail.

2.PWC.

3.NTPC.

4.DVC.

5.ONGC.

6.BHEL.

7.ONGC.

8.BSNL

9.BANK JOB

10.FCI

etc.

but private sector have better scope than govt sector. There are so many private company. Like TCS, CTS ,IBM ,HP ,L&T ,SATYAM etc.

Instrumentation engineering is specialized branch of electrical and electronic engineering. Their work is to improve the system productivity, reliability, safety, optimization and stability. Its the job of the instrumentation engineer to decide which type of instruments needed for better quality and efficiency of the end product.

Instrumentation engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. The various fields where you can work are ::

Designing and developing new control systems;
Maintaining and modifying existing systems;
Managing operations;
Contacting clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities
Project management within cost and time constrained environments
Troubleshooting and problem-solving
Providing advice and consultancy support
Purchasing equipment
Writing computer software
Developing new business proposals

So do not worry there are many jobs available for you .You can work in :

R&D units of public and private sector companies.
Thermal Power Stations
Steel Plants
Refineries and Cement
Fertilizer Plants.

i have done my s.e instrumentation. because of 1st year result i had year down. just tell me what i have do course in holidays, which help me in future?

please say the possible entrance exams for goverment jobs?

Is there any scope in railway sectors of instrumentation and control engineers..?? If yes then how to apply for that ..??
