NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.This exam is conducted by UPSC.

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board then you are applicable for NDA exam.But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

Height and Weight Chart for NDA exam:-

1. Army wings :- Minimum height is 157.5 cms .
2. Navy wings :- Minimum height is 157 cms .
3. Air force :- Minimum height is 162.5 cms .

So you are applicable for NDA exam with the respect to Height .But your age is not fulfill the age criteria .Your age now 16 years old.


So at that time you are not applicable for NDA exam.After completion of your 16.5 years old , you are eligible for NDA exam.

Dear aspirant,

-If you are 6.2 ft then don't worry you are definitely eligible for NDA.

-There is no upper height limit for NDA .

-For NDA you should be 10+2 pass and you should be a unmarried male.

-The age limit is 16 1/2 to 19 years for NDA exam.

-You are 16 years now so you have to wait till 16 1/2 to become eligible for NDA exam.

-You have to pass a objective type paper with good marks so that you get shortlisted for SSB interview.

-In SSB interview you will be tested mentally and physically to test whether you have the officer like quality or not.

-You should be medically fit otherwise you will be rejected in medical test.

-If you pass all the test you will be sent to NDA, Khadakvasla for graduation.

Hey friend,

The NDA exam is a exam which offers you to join in Indian Defnece services to serve the country.

This exam is conducted for candidates to join in:

>> Indian Army

>> Indian Navy

>> Indian Air Force

There are criteira's which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the exam and as per that you need to be physically fit while appearing for the exam as it is very important.

The criteria's would include such as:

~ Nationality

~ Martial Status

~ Age Limit

~ Education qualification

~ Physical Standard

As told that you are 16 years old you are not eligible at this stage as you are not satisfying the needed age limit for the exam as for applying for the NDA exam you need to be a minimum age limit of 16 1/2 years.

Hi my name is Vishal kumar.
I can join in Indian Army.but I'm study at 11th science. My English is very weak . I don't know English. Very problem in science. I like NDA .

I am in 10th class. I want to prepare for NDA on the basis of 12th. So tell me that is my school textbook enough for this exam.
