This BCS Course is similar to B.Sc Computers.

But with alone BCS you may not get the position what you expected you need to continue your studies either with M.Sc or M.C.A So that chances for you will get increased

So try for this option after completing your BCS

You need to do a lot of work while completing your course with all enhanced short term courses like

Programming languages
Networking courses and etc..,
All the courses which enhances your knowledge and chances to get placed soon.

After BCS you can get the Information Technology Jobs.So its better for you to join IT company and go through the Quality Assurance phase before being fully developed and provided to the customer.According to the today's market when newer technologies and products are being launched the requirement and opportunities for aspirants from Testing and Quality assurance are very high, One can expect a starting salary of Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 pm at an entry level.
Whereas, if you wish to switch over to development you can go for languages like JAVA, .Net, C, C++ etc. Both the streams/domains are really good as far as future career is concerned.

see,BCS is a graduation course.

so after graduation course you can do many other courses, like

1.MCS.

2.MCA.

3.MBA.

etc.

the above THREE will be best option for you after having degree BCS.
