i want to join indian army after 12th.
is it compulsory that i have to go to NDA pune and then jin the army or is there any other way to go in the army?

After 12th you have only one way to join Indian Army , which is through NDA exam
The exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year.
The exam is conducted in the month of April and August.

HI,
If you want to join N.D.A after 12th then you have to qualify the N.D.A exam conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Hi! i am +2 sc final year student and want to join indian army. if you can please help me how to join after it.

NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY

NDA entrance exam conduct by UPSC twice in a year for taking in no. of cadets

into the ARMY.

You can apply in NDA through website or written forms provided you fulfill the minimum

eligibility.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

1,Students who have passed 10+2 OR Equivalent qualification are eligible for applying in NDA.
BUT
If you have done your 12th with compulsory subjects maths and physics than you are
Eligible to apply in all the branches – NAVY,ARMY,AIR FORCE.
OR
If you have done your class 12th with commerce or art stream than you are eligible for
ARMY only.


2, Students age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

3, unmarried male candidate are eligibile to apply .


Selection Procedure

The process of selecting cadets for the National Defence Academy is divided into three stages :

• A written examination held by the Union Public Service Commission.

Syllabus for Entrance Examination

• Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

• Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

• Section B (Chemistry)


• Section C (General Science)


• Section D (History, Freedom Movement etc)


• Section E (Geography)


Section F (Current Event).

• An interview by the Service Selection Board to assess a candidate's officer potentialities ( Intelligence and personality test ).

• A medical examination by a Service Medical Board.
(you should be physically fit and you be able to fulfill the minimum physical fitness requirement set by service medical board for students applied for NDA)
