Since you are from science background, you may apply for NDA exam, after +2.
The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year, for recruitment of candidates in the National Defense Academy.
To be eligible, you must be between 16 1/2 years-19 years.
To apply for the exam, you may choose either off-line method or on-line method.
The off-line application form can be obtained from the designated post offices/head post offices throughout the country.

Dear Friend

If you are interested in joining Indian Army, undoubtedly N.D.A. & N.A. Examination
is the best way to go for it.

Through this examination you will have the opportunity to get into all the three
Defence Services i.e., Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.

As you are science stream student you can apply for all the three services.
N.D.A. & N.A. Examination is the single examination to get officer rank job
in any of the Defence Services.

The examination comprises two sections:
1. Mathematics
120 questions of 300 marks. Time 2.50 hrs.
2. General Ability Test
150 question of 600 marks. Time 2.50 hrs
This section will comprise of questions from
English(50 Questions, 200 marks), and General Knowledge(100 Questions 600 marks).
The General Knowledge part contain questions from
a. Physics
b. Chemistry
c. General Science
d. History (Indian Freedom movement, civilization etc.)
e. Geography
f. Current Events
All the questions will be completely objective type.

Yes you can apply for NDA II which will help you to join ARMY if you gets selected ..It is conducted in two mode .

MODE I:: written exam

after completion of 12th standard, you can apply for NDA (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY).
For appear in this exam you must have to complete your 12th with PCM group , and yo must have to pass the 12th with at least 60%.

the age limit for this exam is 16.5-19.

Through this examination you can apply for all three branches of the indian air force-
1.military wing
2.naval wing
3.air force wings.

Eligibility for Indian Army :-

1) 10+2 (Through NDA)

You have to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to join NDA (National Defence Academy).
Eligibility for UPSC exam :-
a) Sex :- Male.
b) Age Limit :- Between 16 1/2 and 19.

Application Forms are published in leading
newspapers during March /April.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

UPSC (NDA) Syllabus is based on CBSE syllabus.

After clearing the written exam you have to go through a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step .

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.


2) Engineering Graduates (Direct Entry)

Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly.

So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.

Age Limit :- Between 20-27 years at the time of joining.

After which you will be able to appear in NDA exam..
Through NDA exam you can apply for Indian Army wing..

Eligibility for Indian Army wing:-

1.Candidate has to complete the 12th class in trade..

2.Candidate who is appearing for 12th class board exam can also apply for NDA exam.

3.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

4.candidate must be a citizen of India.

You just don't worry about the percentage marks ..

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, navy and Air Force.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either appeared for the final 12th exam or passed from any stream having a good physical fitness can apply for NDA.

As you are from science stream after 12th or during appearing for final 12th you can apply for all three wings of NDA. So wait till you reach 12th and then only you can apply for NDA.

Yes you can join in Indian Army after 12th std. It does not matter whatever stream you choose in 11th and 12th std. For joining in Indian Army after 12thstd
you must appear and clear an exam named as NDA exam(National Defense Academy). This exam is conducted by UPSC and the eligibility criteria required for appearing in this exam are as follows.

1. You must be an Indian.

2. You must have completed your 12th std of any stream.

3. Your age must be above 16.5years and below 19years.

NDA will have three wings.

1.army,
2.airforce
3.navy.

Eligibility criteria:

>You should be complete 12th standard from any recognised university.

>you should be a citizen of india.

no you can't join Indian army after 10Th.firstly you should either complete your +2 class in any stream then after you can give a test of NDA or you should complete your graduation then after you are eligible to go to Indian army.
