Jawaharlal Nehru University does not have pure chemistry in M. Sc but they do have Biochemistry and Chemistry of Macromolecules subjects.

JNU stands Jawaharlal Nehru University. Many courses and admission of various courses offered by Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Certificates courses

Diploma courses

Advanced diploma courses

Postgraduate Degree Course(Such as MA,M.Sc,MBA,LLM etc)

Research Programs such as Master of Philosophy(MPhil),Doctorate of Philosophy(Ph.D)


These all courses offered by Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Jawahar Lal Nehru University do not offers M.sc Course in Chemistry.There are three departments in JNU which offers chemistry related courses and these are :-
  1. School of Biotechnology.
  2. School of Life Sciences.
  3. School of Physical Sciences.
Eligibility required for Biotechnology :
  • Candidates should have a Master degree in Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering/Bio-chemistry/Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics or any branch of Physical/Biological Engineering or B.Tech in Biotechnology/Bioengineering from a recognized university.
  • Candidates minimum marks in Master degree course should be 55%.
Eligibility for Life Sciences :
  • Under this you will able to do M.Phil/P.Hd in Life Sciences.
  • For doing this course candidates should have a Master degree in Botany/Zoology/genetics/Bio-chemistry/Micro-biology from a recognized university.
  • Candidates minimum marks in Master degree course should be 50%.
Eligibility for Physical Sciences :
  • Under this you can do M.sc in Physics or P.HD in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics.
  • For M.sc Physics Course Candidates should must have studied Physics as one of the subject in Under-Graduate level with a minimum of 55% marks aggregate in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics or in Physics Honors.
  • For P.HD Course candidates Must have completed their M.Phil Course from a recognized university/research institutions with a minimum of 6 CGPA.Candidates should also have a 2 years of experience in a reputed institution with research publications.

I have 54.18% aggregate in bsc industrial chem and 58.667% in chem and 61% in industril chem.which course should I do..
