Hi Naresh

Marine engineering refers to the engineering of boats, ships, oil rigs and any other marine vessel.
To pursue any engineering course you must be from science stream because engineering deals with science, skill, and profession of acquiring and applying scientific, economic, social, and practical knowledge, in order to design and also build structures, machines, devices, systems, materials and processes.

A commerce student doesn't have the scientific and technical base to pursue an engineering course so you must first complete your board exams in science stream(through private) if possible.

After you complete your 12th board with science subjects, you will be eligible for marine engineering. Also you must aim to get a good score in your boards as most of the colleges require atleast 60% aggregate marks in board exams.Also you will have to various for several entrance exams to get admission in these colleges. But that comes later and for now you should get going on your 12th boards if you are really serious and interested about marine engineering.
