Please give me tricks to solve reasoning questions and maths questions which come in bank clerical exam specially in SBI. I also want previous question paper with answers, came in SBI clerk exam.

It is important that the candidates should be quick in solving problem. But for that it is important that they should have understood how to solve them at the conceptual level. For that they should have solved problems of various types. So it is advisable to purchase books like that of R.S Agarwal. These will give sufficient problems to solve and also tips on how to solve them quickly.

SBI CLERICAL EXAM

Most of the clerical exam paper is based on the following pattern.

Test of Reasoning Ability
Numerical Aptitude.
Test of English Language.
Test of Clerical Aptitude.

To solve the Numerical Aptitude problem first you need a correct book

If you are applying for the Bank clerical exam there are some specific sections that are there like English Language, Aptitude and Computer Knowledge,
and of course you require a good knowledge of maths as many questions are related to basic mathematics.
Now as you have asked for tricks to solve maths let me tell you there are a lot of tricks but the most important trick is HARD WORK,
There is no other trick in this world then this one,
All i want to say that you should regularly do practice regarding mathematics because once you understand the basic concept of a problem you start making your own tricks.

Banks clerical positions will be attempted by several persons in these days.

For these positions, the selection procedure will be by
1)Written test
2)Personal Interview.

In written exam, one has to come across the various questions from reasoning and aptitude.

As you requested, the tricks to solve reasoning questions effectively is good practice of several topics. In reasoning concentrate well on Problem figures. The more practice you have with these problem figures, the less time it will take to answer them.

Nearly 10 questions will be asked from this category. You should focus on 2 things with reference to this category. How the angle is changing and the direction in which the figure is changing in every question.

In addition you should be good enough in mind calculations, logical thinking without putting on paper. These qualities itself will be the tricks for you.

For aptitude too, practice along with accuracy in calculations point will help you to score or gain more. Several questions based on simplications, square roots, LCM etc. and almost all should be solved with calculations.

Apart from this you have to do lots of session on improving your problem solving speed. If you can get hold of any TIME CAT material of SPEED improving, it will be great.

135 minutes for 200 questions.

First of all you should go for basic and fundamental rules of the subject and then regular practice of previous papers.
