A very right choice to complete the Ph.D in your base subject computer sc. which will take you higher and higher .

Eligibility for Admission To Ph.D :-

1: In order to apply for the PhD, you must normally have an MTech/ME in any branch of engineering.

2: An MCA degree is considered equivalent to the BTech/BE degree and is not normally sufficient for admission.

For Direct Admission:- In certain exceptional cases, toppers in an undergraduate BE/BTech program from a reputed university, may be eligible for direct admission into PhD after BE.

And must have secured 75% in qualifying examination, and must also have a valid GATE score.

Admission Procedure:-
The application form is available from central admission site of the reputed institution.

sir, i have done my M-TECH in CS from ISM Dhanbad. I have 5-6 national and international publication. where should i join the phd. can i get the part time phd in iits.

MCA is a master degree and it is fully idiotic comment that master degree(MCA) = bachelor degree(b.tech),let i assume it is true ,then why btechs r not eligible for UGC NET?total idiotic comment that MCA= btech, coporate world consider this maybe(because of wage and shit profit making policies)but academic world dont recognize btech = mca.

IIT is best option for PHD in comp sc , IGNOU is also a good option for PHD.
