Mostly, admission is on merit in top universities and those who have good qualifications with performance in the interview are selected for admission. You must have qualifications like NET/SLET/GATE/JRF qualification in the given stream to become eligible for admission in top universities. If you don't have then you have to go for other entrance exams. You have to apply on a prescribed format when the notification for admission is released and then you will be called for interview or entrance exam based on your qualification. Performance in these two stages will decide your faith for admission.
You can apply for admission in following Institutes/Universities in India 1. UAS, Bangalore, http://www.uasbangalore.edu.in 2. Indian Agricultural Research Institute, http://www.iari.res.in 3. CSAUK, http://www.csauk.ac.in 4. Nationa Research Center on Plant Biotechnology, http://www.nrcpb.org 5. University of Calcutta, http://www.caluniv.ac.in |
