There are several institutions like IGNOU, Sikkim Manipal University, Annamalai University, etc., offering the course of MA in English through distance learning. Admission procedure for the course for M.A. in English varies from university to university. Basically graduates from any discipline are elligible to apply for admission. In some university there is a minimum aggregate percentage required to take admission. You can pursue the course from IGNOU. The course has to be completed in a duration of 2 years to 5 years. For admission at IGNOU refer the website www.ignou.ac.in

Working as an Adhyapak in M P since 2006.B. A. with Sociology ,Hindi & political sc.Is it necessary to do MA in these subjects only for promotion or I can do MA in Eng/Sanskrit w/t affecting my promotion priority. Pl suggest ,as I am In A gr8 dilemma.

I have done my masters in English and I secured only 52%. and in degree also I got very less percentage. But now I have cleared my SLET and need 55%.
