Can somebody tell me how many universities
in India provided PhD in Sociology through
distance learning and part time?
What are its eligible criteria for admission?

You must have at least 55% marks in your Master's degree in relevant field to become eligible for Ph.D in Sociology. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category. If you have good score in exams like NET/SLET/GATE/JRF then you will have good chance of getting admission in a top University.
