Both the universities have equivalent status for doing mca.

Eligibility:
Candidates who have pursued BCA are eligible for this course. Admission of candidates to this course may be through the entrance test organized by the concerned college or the university.

Fees of Mumbai University: Rs 15,175/- for first year
Fees for IGNOU:Rs 12,200/- each semester

Mumbai University:
Mumbai universityalong with regular classes also provide distance education in MCA, through their Institute of Distance and Open learning (IDOL). But you have to give an entrance exam.

IGNOU:
IGNOU is a well renowned distance university and approved by AICTE and UGC. It also provides distance education along with regular classes.

Both are good, but when we compared to Mumbai,IGNOU.

IGMOU is best one.

1) IGNOU
2) IDOL (Mumbai University Distance learning)
