The upper age limit for the category in which you belong is 40 years.

5 years relaxation is given to the J&K residents and 5 years relaxation

is given to SC/ST candidates.

An SC/ST candidate who belong to J&K, gets 10 years relaxation.

Therefore you can apply for the civil services examination.

Up to my knowledge the upper age limit for applying IAS examination is 30 years

and as you said you belong to ST category you are relaxed only till 35 years

and the general eligibility criterion are you should complete any degree from a recognized indian university

this is all you require

I think you are not eligible for civil services exam because upper age limit if 30yrs and relaxable to upto 5 yrs for SC/ST and J&K Residents who have a domicile from 1980 to 1989.
So maximum age is 35yrs

i am applying for a post in my organisation for which age limit it 35 years where as my age is at present 41 , organisation is giving me age relaxation of 5 years, i am having domicile of J& K , as per govt. of india rules age relaxation is 5 years can i get benefit of age relaxation of 10 years .Kindly comment asap
