Re: Ways to get admission in IISER?
How difficult it was to get admitted to IISc or IISER?
OnePlus 7T series on Amazon Prime Day. Its very good to know that you have chosen IISc and IISER's for higher education. As IISc and IISER's intake is more from KVPY, I too will tell about KVPY only. Assuming that you have completed 10th class, you should first apply to KVPY 2015 (SA Stream). Focus really well on the aptitude test and the interview. Just learn and achieve perfection in basic concepts. They are very important to crack KVPY. SX is easy compared to SA as the question paper pattern of former is easy than the latter. If you get a rank below in 200 in SA then be assured of a seat in IISc. Same is the case for SX stream. In SB stream, you need to have a rank below 10 to secure a seat. IISER's dont impose any cut-off for candidates from KVPY. Even if you get a rank below 1000 in SX stream you are admitted in IISER of your choice. Among the IISER's Pune is good for chemistry and biology. Kolkata and Trivandrum is good for mathematics and physics. So you can choose your IISER according to your preference of subjects. Overall IISER Pune is good. Best of Luck . May whatever come, do not lose hope. |
