Re: What is the age limit to appear for CTET exam?
As such there is no age limit mentioned in the eligibility criteria of the CTET on its official website.
But there are lots of other things which needs to be taken into account if you are thinking of filling up the CTET exam form. See, there are 2 categories for which CTET exam is taken- 1. For the Primary Teachers(Class- I to V) For this you need to- >> pass 12th with at least 50% marks and passed 2- year diploma in Elementary education >> pass 12th with at least 45% marks and appearing in the final year of 2- year diploma in Elementary education >> pass 12th with at least 50% marks and appearing in final year/passed in the final year of 4- year B.ED 2. Secondary school teachers (Class VI to VIII) For this you need to- >> Graduation with 50% and passed 2- year diploma in Elementary education >> Graduation with 50% and appearing in the final year of 2- year diploma in Elementary education >> Graduation with 45% and passed/appearing in 1 year B.ed |
