And i want to know about SCRA EXAM with all details regarding age,limit and eligibility etc...

You should not be over 21 years. Also you should have completed your 12th standard or equivalent. Mathematics along with Physics and Chemistry should be amongst the subjects studied. Candidates who have completed first year of Graduation can also apply. Also you must have at least second class in the qualifying exam.

Hey friend,

SCRA-Special Class Railway Apprentices.

Eligibility:

The candidates should have completed 21 years of age by 1st August and the minimum age for aspiring it is 17 years.

The relaxation limits for SC/ST candidates is 5 years.

For backward classes it is 3 years.

For Ex-service men the limit is 5 years.

Education qualification:

The candidate must have passed +2 with (10 +2) pattern of school education with mathematics and either physics or chemistry with it.

Important dates:

Dates of Notification : 19.02.2011

Last date for receipt of application forms : 21.03.2011

Date of the SCRA exam 2011 : 24.07.2011.

For the academic year 2011, it is going to be conducted on 31st July,2011

UPSC Conducts SCRA examination Every Year.

And to apply for SCRA examination, your age should between 17 To 21 Years.

The upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST and for OBC candidates.

5 year relaxation is applicable for SC, ST candidates.

And upto 3 year relaxation is applicable for OBC candidates.

But to apply for this examination, you have to passed in your Intermediate examination from a recognised university with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

OR Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply fro SCRA examination.

the eligibility criteria for SCRA exam is
age:lower age limit of 17 years and upper age limit of 21

SCRA exam means Special Class Railway Apprentice examination .
This exam is conducted by Union Public Services Commission(U.P.S.C) to recruit candidates in Indian railway.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:-

-- CANDIDATE MUST BE INDIAN CITIZEN.

-- CANDIDATE MUST HAVE PASSED INTERMEDIATE EXAM WITH FIRST/SECOND CLASS FROM RECOGNIZED BOARD.

Being an 12th standard your eligible to apply for SCRA Examination . But you have Not Mention your Specialization like, whether your belong from Commerce / Science stream candidate . If your Belong from science stream candidate than your eligible to apply for this Examination .

SCRA is stand for the Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA)..

Nice to see your interest in the field of the SCRA entrance examination. The SCRA entrance examination is conducted by the UPSC once in every year in behalf of Ministry of Railway for the admission in the mechanical department of the Indian Railway. To appear in the SCRA entrance examination you need following criteria.
