CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department .

CID Officer job post is the govt. sector post which work to investigation the complex cases under the govt. of India.

You should have a degree with any discipline from any recognized university , then you are applicable for CID Exam .

Your age should be between 20-27 years and upper age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST .

You can join in Indian Army through CDS , NDA Exam .The age criteria of these exam is given below.

COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICE EXAM

The Applicant should be Complete Graduation from recognized University .Any stream candidates may eligible to apply for CDS Examination from recognized university .

The Applicant age should be 19 years to 24 years .

NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy.

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Final year student are applicable for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

For getting job in Indian Army there are two Exams in which you can appear.These are :-
-->>NDA(National Defence Academy).
-->>CDS(Combined Defence Services).

Educational qualification required :-

For NDA

• You should be Intermediate passed out with science stream.
• Your subjects in science stream should be Physics,Mathematics and Chemistry.
• English should be your Compulsory subject.

FOR CDS

• For this you should be Graduation passed out from recognized university.
• Your Honors paper should be Physics/Mathematics in Graduation.

For CID(Crime Investigation Department)


Educational qualification :- You should be Graduation/Degree passed out in any stream from recognized university.


Age Details


FOR NDA

• Minimum age should be 16.5 years and should not be above 19 years.

FOR CDS

• Minimum age should be 18 years and should not be above 24 years.

FOR CID

• Minimum age should be 18 years and should not be above 27 years.

This is under the govt of india and main aim of this deportment is crime detection agency. So if you interested to join in this deportment you need qualifying the CIVIL SERVICES EXTERMINATION conducted by the union public service commission.

Every year the union public service commission is conducted the civil services examinations, so for writing the civil services exams required educational qualifications and age limit are given bellow:

For Constable Post :

There are many posts in CID deportment, so required requirements are dependent on which posts applying by the candidates. Apart from if you are applying for CONSTABLE posts required educational qualifications are you must completed the 10+2.

For constable posts required minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 25 years and here age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.

For Sub-Inspector & Officer Level Posts :

If you are applying for SUB-INSPECTOR and OFFICER LEVEL posts, required educational qualifications are you must completed the GRADUATION from recognized university and here not required any percentage.

For sub-inspector and officer level posts required minimum age limit should be 21 years and maximum age limit should be 30 years and here age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.

Selection Procedure :

For requiting in the CID deportment, the selection procedure is based on the WRITTEN TEST [ As Per Civil Service Examinations ] and PHYSICAL EFFECTIVE TEST and INTERVIEW. Apart from first conducted the written test and this test containing the objective test.

After qualifying the written test called for physical test and interview.

AND FOR ARMY:

if you are appearing for NDA exam the age limit is 16 1/2 to 19 years
if you are appearing for CDS exam the age limit is 21 to 27 years
