The Criminal Investigation Department(CID) is a crime detection agency under the Government of India.
#Candidates who wish to join the Crime Investigation Department must appear in the Indian Civil Services examination that is held by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). #Direct recruitment to CID is done through examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission(SSC). Minimum qualification (depends on the level you want to join) >to join as a constable in CID is 10+2 . >to join as sub inspector and officer post is graduation degree . >for the course in criminology one should pass class 10+2 with either arts or science background. Age limit candidate age should be between 20 years to 27 years (age relaxation upto 3 years for OBC candidate and upto 5 years for SC/ST candidate). CID-CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT is crime detecting agency under Central Government.
To become a CID Officer one has to appear for the examination conducted by UPSC held once every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognised University within the age of 20 to 27 years is eligible to apply for UPSC exam for CID officer. The upper age is relaxed up to 5 years for SC/St candidate and up to 3 years for OBC candidate.The candidate must posses certain prescribed physical fitness for CID officer. Dear Friend,
CID Stands for Crime Investigation Department. The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Preliminary Examination for the selection of candidates in CID. The Qualifications required to give the exam of CID are : a) you must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university. b) your age must lie in between 21-27 years. c) There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC Candidates and of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates. d) you must be an Indian. e) You must have good physical and mental status. C.I.D stands for crime investigation department. the various eligibility criteria for joining CID are as follows: 1.educational qualification: --->you must be graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. ----> final year candidates are also eligible to apply. 2.age limitations: ---> your age must be between 20 to 27 years. 3.qualify exam. ---> for joining CID ,you have to clear SSC combined graduate preliminary examination. hope the information assists you. |
