CID stands for the Crime Investigation Department. If you want to join this department, you will have to clear the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level exam.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

2. The age limit for the post of Sub inspector is 20-30 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of OBC and SC/ST category.

To get job in CID, you need to clear the written test which includes Tier I and II and personal interview.

CID stand for Criminal Investigation Department. This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The candidate should be citizen of India.

2. the candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university.

3. Age limit for this exam is 21-30 years for general candidates. There is age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates. 21-33 years for OBC candidates and for SC/ST 21-35 years is the maximum age limit.

4. Both male and female candidates are applicable for this exam.

5. The candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

Selection Process:

1. Written Test.

2. Interview.

3. Physical Fitness Test.
