what is the age limitation to join Indian army....please mention to me the age limit

Look, there are mainly two way for making the way in the Indian army , Ist after 12th & IInd after graduation,.
After completion of 12th from a recognized board, one can apply in Indian army through the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY] exam, conducted by, UPSC [UNION PUIBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION].
The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,.
there is not any kind of age relaxations are applicable for the SC\ST & OBC candidates .


And after completion of graduation ,you can apply through CDS exam [combined defense services].
The age limit for this examination is 19-25 for the IMA [INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY].

if you are below 28 than there are still chances to get into the indian army
through CDSE.
You should be graduate with 60% marks.
you should be able to fulfill their minimum fitness requirement.

can i jion indian army with graduate B.com computers 56% and my age is 26 and iam having school ncc aA certificate ?

if my university is an open university ,will that be a problem?

after garduation u can apply till 24 and after 12 u can apply tilll20

You can join in Indian ARMY through CDSE , NDA ,UES scheme .The age criteria of those exam is given below.

There is age relaxation for SC|ST|OBC category but in the case of NDA exam there is no relaxation for age.

Maximum no of these exam is conducted by UPSC.

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE EXAM(CDSE)

AGE CRITERIA

Your age should be in between 19 to 23 years

UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME ( UES)

AGE CRITERIA

Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA)

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

NCC ENTRY (TROUGH SSC)

-N.D.A
-C.D.A

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citize of India
> Medically fit

Eligibility criteria for C.D.S:-
> Pass gradation with recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year.
> Must be citize of India
> Medically fit

My friend you have not mentioned about your qualification.

If you want to join in Army wing through NDA exam then your age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

And if you want to join in army wing after completion of graduation course then you have to appear in CDS exam.
For that your age should be in between 19-24 years.

Now the decision is in your hand.. You decide in which way you want to join in ARMY wing.

What is the age limitation to join in Indian Army?

Age limit to join Indian navy are as follows:-

Through NDA:-

Age limit is from 1.5 to 19 years.

Through CDS:-

Age limit is from 19 to 24 years.

so, if you meet these criteria then you are definitely eligible to join Indian Navy and can serve our country.

There are two types of Competitive exams are available to join Indian Army.
The exams are NDA exam and CDS exam.

•NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

•CDS stands for Combined Defence Service.


These two Exams conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).


Eligibility criteria for NDA exam.

•Candidates must be completed 10+2 board exam.

•Candidates age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

•Candidates must have at least 50% marks in Class 10+2 board exam.


Eligibility criteria for CDS exam.

•Candidates age should be between 19 years to 24 years.

•Candidates must have graduation degree from any recognized university.

•Candidates must have atleast 60% marks in Graduation.

one can join indian army after 12 and afetr graduation also can join indian army.

after 12th one need to write NDA exam
and afetr graduation one need to write CDS exam.

both has the different age limits and different academic eligibility.

here i am giving the eligibility criteria of NDA and CDS.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA is 12th Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities.
Candidate appearing can also apply.

Age limit 16.5 to 19 years


A candidate has to go through three stages :

Written examination conducted by UPSC
Interview by SSB to test officer potentialities
Medical Test by a Service Medical Board.

Scheme of the Examination

Papers will be objective type. Medium of examination is English only.

Syllabus for Entrance Examination
Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.
Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

APPLICATION FORM are published by the UPSC at interval of six months,
i.e. April / May and October / November in all the local newspapers and Employment News.

CDS:

Education Qualification

Candidate applying for the Combined defence service examination
should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.
For the Indian Air force and Navy candidate should have physics and maths at 10+2 level.

Age Limit

Indian Military Academy 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Officer Training Academy 19-25 Years

Exam Pattern

English 100 marks
General Knowledge 100 Marks
Elementary Mathematics 100 Marks
Total 300 marks

If you want join in Indian Army through NDA, CDA and UES.These Exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

There is age relaxation for SC/ ST/OBC category but NDA Exam there is relaxation for age.

National Defence Academy (NDA):

Age Limit: - 16.5 to 19 years.

Combined Defence Service (CDA) Examination:

Age Limit: - 19 to 23 years.

University Entry Scheme (UES) Examination:

Age Limit: - 18 to 28 years.

Hi,
If you join Indian Army after passing 12th through National Defence Services Exam then your age should be in between 16.5-19 year.

If you join after passing graduation through Combine Defence Services Exam then you age should be in between 19-24 year.

If you apply after law course then your age should be in between 21-27 year.

After age another factor is important is you physical fitness.

Indian army is inviting the applications for undergraduates and graduates and postgraduates students through various entrance schemes and these entry schemes are conducted by the union public service commission and list of entry schemes are given bellow..

1. Combined Defense Service Exam,
2. University Entry Scheme,
3. National Defense Academy,
4. NCC Entry,

For these posts the selection procedure is based on the written test ans physical effective test and interview, apart from first conducted the written test and after qualifying called for physical effective test and then called for interview.

For requiting in indian army through this entry scheme, required minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 28 years.

2. University Entry Scheme:
