Dear Friend

The acronym B.ed stands for the Bachelor of Education. It is a teacher training course and in present days has become compulsory for persons who desire to become teachers in government schools at elementary and senior secondary level.

Now coming to your query:

The minimum academic qualifications required is bachelor 's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.Candidates pursuing their are also eligible to appear for the entrance examination which is gate way to it.

It can be done in regular or distance mode.It totally depends upon your choice to select the option for doing it.

The maximum age limit is 28 years for regular mode and for distance mode there is no upper age limit.

The entrance test consists of questions from:

>>English [comprehensive]

>>General awareness

>>Teacher aptitude test

>>Quantitative aptitude.

Best universities for this course are:

>>Delhi University

>>CCS university

>>Rajasthan university.

>>Sikkim Manipal university.

Note: If you are concerned about 10th % of marks then do not worry,% of marks in 10th do not play a vital role for eligibility to B.ed and what it matters is that you should have at least 50% marks in graduation.5% relaxation in marks provided to obc and sc/st respectively.

Hope the information helps you.

If you have any further problem then you can leave your message here.

all the best
