basic civil engineering questions...Please tell me what are they

There is no such specific basic sets of questions of Civil engineering which are generally asked in interview of recruitment drives or government job interview. You need to have good knowledge of basic subjects of civil engineering right from first year of engineering to final year of engineering. Go through all technical subjects of Civil Engineering and then practice objective questions from GATE, Indian Engineering Services exam and other PSU exams.

Questions are not fixed and it depends upon interviewer, he can ask you anything from different subjects of Civil Engineering. Important subjects of Civil Engineering are Geology, Surveying, Structural Mechanics, Environmental engineering etc.
