All companies asked technical questions. The questions are asked from your field of interest specified in your resume only. And then ask some computer knowledge questions in the languages like c,c++ and so on. Your field of interest subject is very important. All the best

So increase your knowledge about the programing Languages.

1.based on your Degree
2.based on your Areas of interest
3.they are asking basics of the subject alone

for ex: c is your interest then they are asking declaration,syntax like this only

See there are a lot of subjects which can be brought under technical. But mainly the genres of programming are the favorite area of questions for the IT sector people. They love asking questions from C++ or JAVA programming. Normally they will not give you to write a program, but they will want some idea as to how you will approach the program,which functions will you require for the program, any macros to be used in the program, etc.
Also another genre that is favorite for IT sector people is the networking and communications genre. They can ask from any domain under this. So do prepare yourself in these genres and along with this keep ideas about database management also. Good Luck.
