what are the basic requirements for Bsc nursing...is it neccessary to do specialisation for doing further study for RN(regular nurse)..

Candidates who have completed HSC from any recognized institutions can apply for B.Sc Nursing. The qualification must be obtained in Science stream with biology as one of the subjects. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit. In this case, marks obtained in 12th class acts as the basis for admission. Certain institutes like JIPMER conducts entrance test for selection.

Dear Friend ,
B.sc Nursing means A bachelor of science in Nursing. Duration of course :- 4 year including Internship. Age :-Minimum age is 17 year before admission & maximum age is 35 year. Eligibility:- compete +2 science with PCB ( physics,chemistry,biology) with minimum 45% aggregate marks. Candidates should be medically Fit. Selection procedure:- The selection procedure based on merit of councelling held by the university or councelling held by private nursing council. These are the basic requirement of B.sc Nursing. |

qualifications for diploma in nursing at kmtc is a mean grade of c plain , with c plain in Eng/Swahili, biology and any other science. for Bsc nursing straight from form 4, mean grade C , with c in bio, Eng/Swahili, a humanity and any other science.
