Can I apply for IAS through post basic BSc Nursing?
sir, i am state govt. servent as a male nurse by GNM course. At present i have passed post basic Bsc nursing. Can i apply for Ias exam

Sir, I have done post basic b.sc. nursing (2 years course) after completing 3 years diploma in general nursing and midwifery. According to Indian Nursing Council post basic b.sc. nursing is equivalent to b.sc. nursing. Am I eligible for IAS exam?

Yes you can apply for IAS through post basic B. Sc nursing. Any stream candidates with bachelor degree course are eligible to apply for IAS entrance examination. So, after completing B. Sc in nursing course you are definitely eligible for IAS entrance examination.

Yes of course , you are eligible to apply for IAS Examination .
Any graduate candidate can apply for IAS examination and there is no specific Stream and there is no percentage bar required for this examination . To become a IAS Officer , you have to clear the two stage of IAS examination :- ~~Civil Service Aptitude Test ~~Main Examination . To apply for IAS Exam , candidate should have a completed bachelor's degree with any subject Commerce / Medicine / Science / Arts of a recognized University OR final year of degree course can also eligible to apply for IAS Examination . Candidate age should have a minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination . Upper age limits is applicable for SC/ST/OBC categories . 3 years for OBC , 5 years for SC/ST . Number of Attempts :: Four attempts for General category , Seven attempts for OBC category and No restriction of SC/ST category . Civil Service Aptitude Test is divided into two papers and both the papers are objective type questions . Duration of each paper is 2 hrs . This year announcement was already declared and the examination was also already completed on 15/04/12 . Next announcement will be in the month of Feb OR March in the official website of UPSC as well as employment news paper. |
