Both the options are good. Selections can be made according to your future prospects. Engineering is a professional degree, which makes your job search easier. After engineering, you can easily have a job in technical field. Though B.Sc holders have adequate career opportunities, chances to pursue a lucrative job will be high after further studies like M.Sc or MCA.

Both B.Sc and Engineering are very good option.if you are intrested in technical field then you can choose Engineering if you are not intrested in technical field then you can choose B.Sc.

In engineering you have both apportunity of higher education in technical and you can also go for scientist. if you are intrested in Engineering then you have to apply for JEE exam.

JEE exam is only single exam for admission in engineering college. admission in any engineering college is based on merit in JEE exam. There are two phases of JEE exam, JEE Main and JEE Advance. first you have to apply for JEE Main exam if you clear then you have to apply for JEE Advance.

Admission in B.Sc are mainly based on 12th marks but some universities have entrance exam for B.Sc admission.first you have to choose college in which you want to take admission and collect information related to the college.

In B.Sc you have so much chances of higher education and to become a scientist. after B.Sc you can apply for M.Sc and Ph.D courses .

I would suggest not to go for Engineering as it has no more charm and value in India. However if you get into IIT's, then it would be nice but at the same time you got to masters followed to it.

BSc is also cool till you really achieve a long time sustainable support.

Among the two course you mentioned, Engineering will be better. After completing the 4 years course you can find job easily in comparison to the B.Sc degree which alone may not be sufficient. You will have to do post graduation course like M.Sc or MCA. If you are interested in Computers then there are two branches of engineering worth applying.

B.Tech Computer Science

B.Tech IT

The scope with B.Tech in Information Technology is less in comparison to the B.Tech in Computer Science. Therefore I will suggest you to apply for the Computer Science Engineering.

You have the subjects required to take admission for Engineering course. The best institutes for studying Bachelor of Technology are National Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institutes of Technology.

Admission in both these institutes is given through entrance exam called Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). Earlier there were 2 different entrance exams. AIEEE was for NITs and All India quota while the IIT-JEE was for admission in IITs. It changed this year when the government of India introducted a new single entrance exam called JEE.

The Joint Entrance Exam has two stages. First is the JEE Mains which is the replacement of the AIEEE entrance exam. The JEE Mains is for admission in NITs and 15 percent All India reservation. On the other hand JEE Advanced is only to take admission in the Indian Institutes of Technology.

JEE Eligibility

1. You will first have to complete 12th from recognized board.

2. You should have studied 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

3. 3-4 diploma holders are also eligible to apply for JEE.

4. There is no percentage criteria is 12th or diploma.

5. Your age should be less than 25 years to apply.

6. However Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe can apply up to 30 years.

7. There is 3 consecutive attempts given per candidate.

8. You will first attempt the JEE Mains.

9. Only the top 150,000 will go ahead to appear for JEE Advanced.

Dear friend,

Both options are good in their aspects.

If you are interested in Technical Field, then you must choose B.Tech in Computer Science or something else.

But if you are not technical and like to study more and more, then B.Sc. in Computer Science would be better for you.

B.Tech has a good scope over B.Sc. as it has more career options than B.Sc.

There is much demand B.Tech Graduates in comparison to B.Sc graduates.

So, today students generally wish to complete their graduation through B.Tech.

If you pursue to do B.Tech, then appear for entrance exams like:

>> JEE Mains,

>> JEE Advanced

>> VITEE

>> UPSEE

>> MP-PET

>> BITSAT

>> MHT-CET
, etc.

After qualifying these exams, you will get admission in good colleges like NITs, IITs, IIITs, etc.

After getting graduate from these colleges, you will definitely get good placements in good companies with handsome salary.

Or if you wish to do B.Sc. then you can do it from any University.

It will cost you less and with less hard work in comparison to B.Tech.

B.sc is the arts and science but BE is the technical field.
You want to do scientist means you select B.sc(physics, chemistry )
if you want to do manufacture ,design ,research means you select BE is the best choice

-> As per priority , engineers have good chances because in B.tech you used to gain more technical information and exposure of software development too .
-> If you are particular maths physics chemistry you can opt any engineering stream , every stream have unique opportunities. Lot of scope in getting placements. But MNC 's give priority to engineering candidates .
-> So, it totally depends on you , think over it and bright future ahead..
