Re: What can I do to make a career in Astronomy?
To pursue a career in astronomy a good background in maths, physics, chemistry and computer science is required and most important are Mathematics, Physics and any other science. Subjects like Modern Languages, Computer Science and Geography can be useful. Make sure that you get good grades in English as you will always need to be able to write.Oral and written communication skills are also important because most astronomers are expected to work as part of a team.
