What is good for me after BSc in Astronomy? What is the eligibility?
I m a student of bsc(pcm) 1st yr...i m very much intrstd in astronomy...please tell me what's gud 4 me aftr bsc for career in astronomy N for that what is the eligibility? Plz give me whole informatn as much as possible...

To pursue a career in this field you should be proficient in both Physics and Maths. The next step after B.Sc should be to pursue M.Sc course. Various universities and institutes like IISc, MG University, Madurai Kamaraj University, AMU etc offer courses in this field. For further specialisation after M.Sc you must pursue the Ph.D next. Inter-University Centre for Astronomy & Astrophysics (IUCAA), Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) offer courses in this area. You will need to appear for the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) for the same.

i am not good at mathematics but i am interseted in astronomy...say me that i'm eligible for this subject or not??
but i'm very good at physics and chemistry. |
