Re: What can I do now after completing BCA? I want to do PG course
Hello,
You have to come to the right place for such a question. You yourself have halfway solved the problem. You yourself have said that you do not like computers. Then at the first place you should not have gone for BCA. Nonetheless MCA cannot be your choice at all. So you have to look for other options. Yes you can definitely go for MBA, on condition that you have got a 50% or more in your graduation aggregate. Also you need to clear any of the MBA common entrance test like CAT or OPENMAT or XAT or CAMT or GPAT or JMET etc. The examination that you choose depends on the institute that you join. Once you score more than the cut-off criteria set by the institute in the examination you apply for the MBA institute and then sit for the respective interview. After the interview, you can enter the MBA program. |

Re: What can I do now after completing BCA? I want to do PG course
If you have no interest in computers then there is no point of doing Master of Computer Applications. I would not recommend that to you. In such scenario I will suggest two options to you.
First would be M.Com, you surely can go for this post graduation course. All you will need is at least 50 percent marks in graduation to pursue M.Com course. After this course you may apply for the College Lectureship. However to do so, you will have to score at least 55 percent marks in post graduation course. Of course the other option would be Master of Business Administration as you pointed out. MBA is good course especially for those who are interested in management role. You can do MBA in various streams: Finance Banking Marketing Human Resources Healthcare Economics IT There are many other branches as well. You will have to choose yourself. According to me Finance is the best stream but you don't necessary have to go with my choice. Feel free to choose any of the following. You will need to appear in entrance exam for admission in MBA. The most obvious choice would be Common Admission Test (CAT) which is conducted for admission in Indian Institute of Management. However there are some other good colleges that also accept the CAT score. Eligibility 1. bachelor degree from a recognized university 2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST need 45 percent marks. Other than CAT, you can appear for Management Aptitude Test. But only do so if you fail to meet the requirements for CAT. Unlike CAT there is no percentage criteria for MAT. All you require is a graduation degree. Generally candidates with low percentage in graduation prefer appearing for Management Aptitude Test. |
