You can join Indian Army provided you have completed class 10. For anyone who seeking to enter the Indian Army as a Soldier, the basic eligibility will be class 10 with maths, science and English as main subjects. There are various categories like General Duty SSLC where qualification should be class 10 and within 16-21 years age bracket. While those in the Technical segment, candidate has to be Matric with minimum 45 per cent marks. The same is the case of clerk entry too and age bracket will be 16-23 years. For nursing assistants and tradesman, eligibility will be class 10. As far as salary is concerned, initial payment of a Soldier is between Rs 15,400-Rs 20200.

first and foremost requirement to join Indian army is that one should be an Indian citizen.

One should be at least 18 years and above to serve in any post of Indian army.

The education qualification to join any Indian army commission should be minimum of 10+2 which later includes graduation, post graduation and more.

You can not appear in entrance-exams conducted to enter in Indian army because you are not pass in 10th standard exam.
For joining Indian army you should be passed in metric (10th) exam with minimum of 45%marks in maths, English and Science.

No,you can not apply for Indian Army because you have not passed 12th and also fail in 10th.Your age is also not eligibile.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Candidate who want to apply for Indian Army must pass his/her class 12th from a recognized board.Candidate must either be a citizen of India or a subject of Bhutan and Nepal.

Candidate age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.Only Unmarried are eligibile for this exam.

I have a question regarding my brother he is 17 right now.
He has completed class 11th from Rajasthan board, and was not able to pass in class 11th(Failed),
can he still join Air force as Airman, after competing 12th class/ doing 11th twice will not reflect in his career?
