Hello Friend!

Based on 10th Qualification you are not eligible to join Indian Army. To join Indian Army you need to pass 12th standard. After completing 12th standard you can join Indian Army by giving NDA Entrance Examnation.

NDA :- National Defence Academy

National Defence Academy entrance examination is conducted by Union Public Service(UPSC) twice in a year. Through NDA Exam you can join following defence wings..

:-Indian Army
:-Indian Navy
:-Indian Air Force


ELIGIBILITY for NDA EXAM:

You should be 12th passed from recognized central/state board of education.
Or
You can also apply while appearing for 12th standard.

Your Age should be with in 16.5 to 19 years.

You should be Unmarried, Male & citizen of India.



PHYSICAL STANDARD for NDA:

Height: Minimum 157 cm

Eye standard: Without glasses better eye 6/6 and worse 6/9

CHEST: 77 in cms (around)

So as per your educational qualification you are not eligible.
Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should complete +2 from a recognised state board.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Age limits is 16.5years to 19years.

Candidate should be physically fit.
So you need to complete 12th standard to join in NDA.

You cannot join INDIAN ARMY on the basis of 10th so to join INDIAN ARMY through NDA or Bharti's you must have an educational qualification of 12th so that you are eligible to apply for the course.

So friend you first complete your 12th class and then appear for the NDA exam to become an Army Officer.

If you wanted to go in INDIAN AIR FORCE or INDIAN NAVY then you must take SCIENCE STREAM in 11th and 12th class.


There is also some Eligibility criteria to appear in the exams of NDA.

1)You should be a citizen of INDIA.

2)You should have done your 12th class from a recognized board.

3)A student appearing for the 12th class exams is also eligible to appear for the exams.

4)Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

5)You should be physically fit.

6)You must be a male and unmarried candidate.

7)If you wanted to join INDIAN NAVY or INDIA AIR FORCE then you can only apply for it if you have taken PHYSICS and MATHEMATICS as subjects in 11th and 12th class.

After passing 10th you can join Indian Army as a solider.

If you want to become Indian Army officer then you have to pass the 12th class with any stream.

After passing 12th you have to qualify the National Defence Academy.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

The candidate apply for N.D.A exam should be in between 16.5-19 year.

The candidate also Medically fit.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to join in INDIAN ARMY after 10th.The minimum qualification required for this exam is 12th standard from recognized university.

If you want to join in INDIAN ARMY you need to crack the NDA exam this exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.

you are asking about joining of Indian army you can surely join

But as per our clearence of question after 10th you can join Indian Army by giving National Defence Examination which is firstly a written paper than a physical test.if you pass in written exam .

Hence you had asked for height criteria yes there is requirement of good height but you must be not as such that you can not give the physical test.your height must be greater or equal to 5.5 ft and you must have balanced physique.

I passed 10 in 2010 and now syudying in 10 2 non-medical .how can I join Indian Army on the bases of 10. after slected for Indian Army and by studying correspondingly can I join as an IPS Officer.

Can i attend CDS exam with 10th std mark below 60%

It is really nice to see that you want to join Indian Army, but it is not possible after 10th level.

You need to pass 12th level or in the final year to become eligible to apply for NDA exam for joining Indian Army.

Basically for The Indian Army you have to appear in the NDA exam.This exam ois conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). NDA is an entrance for joining in Indian Defense Services, different cadre's like

Physical Standard for NDA ==>>

• You should not be overweight or underweight.

• Your height should be more than 153 cms. (And for Air Force - 162 cms)

• You should have a proper eyesight.

• Your chest size should be more than 81 cms.
