Re: What is CPT entrance exam requirement?
In order to be considered eligible for the common proficiency test, one must have passed 10+2 level of examination conducted by a recognized board. Candidates possessing aforementioned qualification are considered eligible for the test irrespective of the stream followed and marks obtained in the same. Now, in order to qualify the test, you must score a minimum of 50% marks. The test comprise of a single paper of 200 marks distributed among four sections as follows: Fundamental of Accounting:60 Marks Mercantile Law: 40 Marks General Economics: 50 Marks Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Marks In order to qualify the test, you will have to score a minimum of 50% marks. This doesn't means that you will have to score 50% marks in each sections, instead you will have to score 50% marks in aggregate. So, if you score 100 marks out of 200, you will be declared qualified. For further information,. refer to the official website of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India: www.icai.org |
