CPT is Common Proficiency test. CPT is first stage of Chartered Accountancy course. It is an objective test consisting of multiple choice questions from different subjects like:
1. Fundamentals of Accounting. 2. Economics. 3. Mercantile Law. 4. Aptitude. The passing criteria remains same, a candidate must score 30% each in these subjects mentioned above and overall 50% aggregate to clear CPT. CPT is conducted twice every year by ICAI. |
