ICAR which stands for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research conducts an entrance examination at all India level called ICAR AIEEA for undergraduate admission in agriculture.
Eligibility criteria for ICAR entrance exam: Candidate must have passed the 10+2 from any recognized board with any one of the subjects like Biology, Mathematics, Agriculture and Home science. For general, OBC candidates, percentage of marks is 50% and for reserved category it is only 40%. The age limit is between 17-23 years. Scope: You can become agriculture officer, territory manager, assistant plantation manager, agriculture development officers, agriculture research scientist etc. You can get government jobs in ICAR, National seeds corporation limited and State Farms corporation of India. |

B.Sc.(Bachelor Of Science) in Agriculture,
To get admission in B.Sc. Agriculture in top college one has to appear in an entrance exam ICAR(Indian Council Of Agricultural Research) . Eligibility: Student with 10+2 and Ariculture,Home science,Mathematics,Biology as one the subjects with 50% marks for General/OBC category. 40% for sc/st/PWD can apply. After B.Sc. Agriculture you can apply for the job as Agriculture Officer,Agricultural Scientist or can go for higher studies like M.Sc. Agriculture etc. |
