i want date of entrance exam of AMIE 12-13, syllabus also.

Dear aspirant,

AMIE is Associate Member of Institution of Engineers. It is a degree level examination in engineering and is recognised by all state government, Central government and UPSC.
AMIE can be studied at home in correspondence mode.

Eligibility for AMIE

A recognised 3 year polytechnic diploma or its equivalent in any branch of engineering.
OR
10+2 / HSC with physics , chemistry and mathematics with minimum 45 % marks.
Syllabus for AMIE

The syllabus is similar to B.E/ B.Tech.

AMIE syllabus is of two parts : Section A and Section B . Those who want to join AMIE should first study and clear all the subjects in Section A . Then after paasing Section A he can study section B.The number of subjects in Section B is 9.

For 10+2 total subjects is 19 plus lab and project and duration is 6 years.

For 3 years diploma holders total 13 subjects plus lab and project and duration is 6 years.

AMIE is a different way of becoming an engineer other that B.E and B.Tech.
