What to do to be placed in good companies having secured 57.2% in 10th class, 84.6% in Intermediate and 69% in B.Tech with ECE stream?

sir,
I got 57.2%(CBSE) in 10th class,84.6% in intermediate board (andhra pradesh) & 69% in B.Tech(ECE stream, JNTUk).
Many good companies asking for 60% in 10th, 12th & B.Tech.
I believe that I have good technical knowledge in my core subject but not having eligibility to appear for interview due to low 10th class %.
Plz suggest me what to do to get placed in a good (CORE or SOFTWARE) company.

Having sound technical knowledge itself is not enough to be placed in good companies. Prior to that you should have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for that recruitment drive.

It is true that many of the companies are putting the eligibility criteria of Career 60 in the sense only the candidates who have secured a minimum of 60% of marks through out their academic levels are eligible to apepar for that recruitment process.

You have secured just 57.2% in your 10th class which is nullifying your eligibility to various recruitments of big companies and MNCs.

Some companies may also put the eligibility criteria of more than 70% in B.Tech.

So, I suggest you to work with small company for a period of 1 year or 2 years and learn real time work.

Any way you are having good technical knowledge. So, after fulfilling yourself with the real time experience for 1-2 years, you can try for job opportunities in your dream companies or MNCs on the basis of your work experience.

In contrast to that, if you are having interest to pursue your higher studies, you can pursue any of the below courses
-M.Tech
-MCA
-MBA
-M.Sc etc. with your interested specializations.

Dear friend,

Maximum software and core company want 60 % in through out .Some company want 65 through out .so the percentage is vary from company to company .

Few software company set their criteria is just above 50%.

Your 12 th standard no is not above 60%.

So the eligible company are WIPRO , SYNTEL ,RS SOFT ,HONEYWELL ,ALUMNUS etc.

Also you have option for higher study . But you must be qualify in GATE , CAT , MAT exam.

The higher study options are MBA ,M-TECH,MS,JRF,SRF,PHD etc.

All the best

Dear friend,

Yes, what you have derived is absolutely true.

Most companies wants throughout 60% aggregate and your 10th percentage may create problem.

But do not lose hope, There are certain top level companies , which wants 55% or 58% aggregate, You can sit for their recruitment drive and can show your strength.

If you are applying to company directly , then attach one note with your resume, showing some of your strong points and also mention your Technical achievements and ask them, though you are not meeting their criteria you have strong knowledge of field and ask for a single chance from their side.

Remember for you , each single opportunity is important , so prepare yourself strongly before applying anywhere.

After 2 years all companies will look for your knowledge and experience at that time they will not bother about this criteria.so , even if you fail to find good job at beginning level , then also by taking experience in small company , after 2 years ,you can make it to Top MNCs.

Best of luck

Regards.
