I hav secured 84% in class 10 but unfortunately i got 55 % in class 12. I am studying bioinformatics now.I f i secure above 80% in b tech. Does my 12 result would affect my placements during campusing ????

dear friend,
the criteria of on camussing is you must have 60% marks all over your career including 12th..
as you have mentioned that you have secured less than 60% marks in your 12th, so sorry my friend you are not eligible to sit in on campus.

yess 10+2 result is effect to your placement.

maximum company want 60% in through out.

but you have a less chance for placement because you have 50% above in 10+2.

some company have criteria 50% in through out.

You Have Scored Good Marks in Your 10Th Examination, But You have not get Good Marks in Your 12Th Examination, And Now You have Pursuing Your B.Tech Degree Course. So, If you have scored good marks in your B.tech Course, then Yes may be your 12Th Marks was Not Affects Your Placements.

Its True That In These Days many Top Companies Wants 60% Marks In your whole career, But they also give some exemption to those candidates who have scored good marks in 10Th examination and Graduate Degree examination, But Failed To Achieve marks in 12Th. So, If You have scored more than 60% Marks in Your B.tech Degree examination, Then You are Eligible for PSU Examination.

And To get Jobs Is Not Depends On your Marks, Marks Is Only The eligibility Criteria to Sit for Campus Placements. So, There is No Value of Your Marks, If You have scored more than 80% Marks in your degree course But You Have Nothing Knowledge about World's Happenings and Your Knowledge are weak, Then In This case you have lost your Job.

So, To get Good Jobs Is Basically depends on your Knowledge and your Skills.

How You Can Handle the Interview its totally depends on you, The Interviewer Only check your Knowledge and answers Power. So To get Good Jobs is not depends on your Marks, But its depends on your Skills and Knowledge. So Please Increase your Knowledge and Skills by read Daily Newspaper and Magazines, Only then you will be able to get Good Jobs. So, please Dont worry, Your 12Th Marks Will Not Affects your Placements, If you have scored more than 60% marks in Your Degree examination, So please work Hard And Prepare well to achieve good jobs.

You get good marks in 10th but in 12th examination you will not get good score.
But if you have a good and fine placement after btech then your knowledge is the main thing for the good placement.
12th marks is necessary for all the fields so,you have to work hard for the interview for the good placement.


You should need only a perfect knowledge about your particular field and a strong IQ as well as a fine sense of humur.

Mostly companies require 60% throughout in your career i.e 10th ,10+2 & B.Tech inorder to be eligible for campus placement.
You have scored less than 60% in 10+2 .So you may get rejected in some comapnies due to yuor 10+2 marks.

But its not that all the companies require you to have 60% inorder to be eligible for campus placement.There are many companies who have 55% as there eligibilty criteria.
So dont loose hope & dont be disheartened.

Try to score maximum marks in your B.Tech so that it will ave good impact on the companies which will come for campus placement.
You can even apply in your last year in some job searching websites which will help you in getting a good job as per your requirement.

You can even try for jobs off campus too.
Also in your course try to study well & be thorough with your subject so that it will have a good impact on your Interviewer.
Knowledge is more important then marks to get a job & to be permnently in that job.

So dont worry and concentrate on your B.Tech. course.

some companies do have a criteria regarding percentage for freshers in campus placements...but as you excel, and get some experience,these things doesn't matter much...so don't worry...

yes it will affect

12th percentage are not necessery to get job. but if you have get first class in the college. you should get job easily. if you have skill and first class job are easily for you.

your +2 marks will not effect because you have scored good in 10th and supposed to score good in digree examinations.

what are the option for those students who secured less than 50% in 10th and 12th but secured 80% in btech/ cse.if their is a choice for job ,then what are those?

is 10th low percentage a problem during campus recruitment after b.tech?

i got 60% in 1Oth and 50% in 12th can i get job in mec.engg with 69% aggrigrade

I got 59% in 10th and 45% in 12 and i am doing my btech ece branch ,so what wil happen will i get good job if i score good result in btech.

I am a HR in MNC company..your percentage is not important for us we check your confidence and commitment towards your career..but we ask the question like why ur percentage reduced?? Just tell the interviewer that due to health problem I did not attend the classes ,but tell this answer very confidently because if we got a doubt we will not select the candidates..
