Hello Sir,

I am a student doing MBA in IT.
I have applied for the post of Assistant Manager in GIC 2015.

I have this one Query: I am unclear about the Domain Knowledge Questions to be asked for General stream.
Does Domain Knowledge refer to Insurance domain or domain of our educational qualification

If it is based on educational qualification what type of questions can be expected for MBA student applying for General post.

There are various Officer posts available in GIC Assistant Manager exam. The domain knowledge will be according to the post for which you are eligible according to your qualification. As you are a MBA qualified candidate you are eligible for General post as well as other posts like Insurance, HRD and Finance/Accounts.

Therefore, prepare according to your qualification because you are eligible for only those posts in which you have studied. Hence, answer is simple and you should prepare according to the syllabus.

Exam Pattern:

1. Domain Knowledge of the relevant stream: 40 Marks
2. Test of Reasoning: 20 Marks
3. Test of English Language: 20 Marks
4. Test of General Awareness: 20 Marks
5. Test of Numerical Ability & Computer Literacy: 20 Marks
6. Test of English Language: 30 Marks

Domain Knowledge basically refer to an area of human endeavour, an autonomous computer activity, or other specialized discipline.

List of few question that can be asked from MBA student

3. Why MBA? Why MBA from this B-school? and Why this particular niche Program?

4. Questions from your graduate level program

5. Do you read a newspaper? What headline spotted your attention today?

I am B.com with corporate secretaryship graduate. what post can i apply for GIC assistant manager exam 2015?

i m a graduate wit statistics...i hv applied for the post of assistant manager (general) in GIC.can u plz tell me wat ques will b asked in part a of the exam ie.domain knowledge of the relevant stream.

can anyone pls tell me the question to be asked in insurence domain in gic under 40 marks?
will any subject related theory would be asked or normal degree level question they asked
becoz im a graduate applied for insurence didnt have an depth knowledge about insurence
