Hello Respected Sir/Ma'am,
I am Bca 2nd yr 3rd Sem student.I want to know that Is MCA beneficial for my career after doing BCA.In 1st Sem i got 70% and 68% in 2nd Sem.Please help me and give me a Suggestion.

yes of course MCA is masters degree of BCA and is most reputed degree recognized by aicte so you will get good career opportunity after doing MCA and will get good future so if you are interested in technical field than no doubt you may go for it

for takingg admission in a good institute uou need to face competitive exam like iit-jam, nimset , cet etc.

As you know it is a very competitive field. Students now a days do pursue specialisation course and higher education to be well qualified for the various posts available. It is always advisable to pursue higher studies. If you feel you cannot go for a full time studies, part time courses are also available which are recognized.

nowadays BCA candidates are less considered.. only MCA candidates are considered equal to BE-CSE/IT.. so my best suggestion is to for MCA.. in the final sem of MCA if you do a project well in a company.. definitely it would be easier to get into a job..

Of course it would be beneficial for you to do the MCA after your BCA. In any field if a person get the Master Degree then it would put down additional weight to their resume and get chance in some Govt. Organization which seek for a master degree in the particular field. Currently there are many vacancy in the banking sector which seeks for MCA.

Yes MCA is a beneficial option after BCA because BCA is the bachelor degree and MCA is a mater degree and it is also the post graduate degree.
whenever you go for any govt. job there is an extra age relaxation to the post graduate degree holders.
wherever there is a job for post graduates the job is given only to MCA degree holders.
but for the post for which BCA qualification is required ,then MCA degree holders can also apply.

I'd like to support the fact that MCA is a good option after BCA, because now-a-days, you cannot get a company to hire you if they have the choice to hire a postgraduate at the same salary. Moreover, after doing MCA, you may also do MTech - yes, there are certain institutes like the CImage academy in Patna, Bihar which provide lateral entry to 2nd year MTech with guaranteed placement. (I'm not advertising! Anyway...) A master's degree opens better avenues for you since you shall have an equal competition, instead of a UG competing with PGs.

ya of course mca is really beneficial after the bca degree .......as you will have wide variety of jobs opportunity in private as well as in govt sector

surely MCA is beneficial after BCA. if you do MCA then job opportunity and scope both will be very high than than after completion of BCA.

after BCA you can not join as a lecturer in institution but after MCA you may join in any institution as an lecturer of computer related subject.

there are some post in company for which only MCA student can apply. so after BCA you can not apply for that post. after MCA also you may go for higher study. you may join as assistant of a researcher after completion of MCA.

so if you have decided to study MCA after BCA then it is correct decision and go for it.

its depend on your interest. if you want your career in software feild than i think it is good but if you are flexible about your career than you may go for MBA , because in today world the demand of an MBA student is much higher than an MCA student.Now , it upon you ,so do whatever you want to do just keep faith on yourself. happy new year

MCA is a very good option after BCA.But you must do it in a recognized college. You must be able to clear the entrance exam conducted by the universities.
you will get a hefty package after 3 years course completion. but in entirity you must get admission in a good college.

As i am personally persuing BCA and i an in final year, so doing MCA is really the best option. Percentage only doesn't matter and nor your BCA syllabus will help you for your career. But MCA will really give an increment in your salary. and do learn new programming languages like J2EE, .NET, various web technologies, etc. This would add to your CV and will give you priorities too.

yes kumkum, mca will give you indepth knowledge and confidence in the area of computer application. it will also give you senior positions and better job prospects.

MCA is a huge degree.You are talking about BCA even people do MCA after their engineering.The knowledge we can gain after doing MCA is Everything.
MCA is far far better than other masters degree.
Its beneficial when we do MCA after completing bachelor degree because after MCA You can get job related to software engineering and its equivalent to engineering.So MCA is a good option for those who now pursuing their BCA or completed.

dear kumkum ,,mca is the best option after bca bcz it is the master degree in the same field and nowadayz scope of mca is quite good,,,and till u will complete ur post graduation it will become more betterrr,,,,,,so my sugesstion is to persue mca after graduation,,,,and u had got a nice aggregate in ur 1 year,,,,,try to maintain it tilll d end ,,,,,best of luck from my side

after BCA there are many option you can do MCA or you can do MBA. it is not important that after BCA you must do MCA. so, you think urself which feild suited u most and go for that. thank you

if you are comfortable with BCA then you should go for MCA like in BCA till now you most probably studied C,C++ these are the basics after that you will study JAVA these are just the basics in detail you will able to understand in MCA this is about the software portion if you are more interested in hardware so do according to that it is not necessary to do MCA after BCA you can also go for MBA or MBA-IB
so first of all find you are interested in software ,hardware or networking after that chose some option for higher qualification.

yes so much.if is any job opportunity come then mca is always given preference.And there is difference in salary b/w these 2 courses.

if you will do your MCA from some elite institute like BITS Pilani, thapar university etc.. then it is good for ur career if not then prepare for CAT

software engineer because all people are studing and work in computer and laptop then .they have many problem in software thats why companies heire many software engineers to solve the peoples problem

Going to job after BCA is also not advisable.

yes my friend,its really a batter option..u scored gud %age in ur last xams....u can opt 4 either IP university in delhi...whose forms will be available in march.
or u can do m,sc computer science also,which has almost equal imp....delhi university provide this course.

Beneficial obviously for rigidity in your carrier...and Necessary due to following reason...

In Indian education system...d trend has moved more towards post-graduation wich has been reflected in dere courses also...i.e d courses for post graduation are more technical and practical az cmpared to graduation courses....so a graduate in any field wil not make u fully knowlegable...so its a must....

Also doing M.C.A wil stand u in cmparison to Engineers...wich is not possible wid only B.C.A....n also u cud find many Engineers but not M.C.A ppl...so my dear frnd jst go for it...widout any second thought...
