Duration of the B.Ed. Course:
The course of study shall be for duration of one academic year consisting of 180 working days / Curriculum transaction days or 1080 hours (5 days per week@6 hour per day) excluding admission and examination days. The 180 working days will include teaching practice, revision examination and study holidays. |

Like they are going to increase the duration of the graduation from three years to four years and B.ed from one year to two years. But till yet it is not increased. All the very best |

It is an annual program i.e. its duration is one year. The neccessary condition for admission is that one must have two subjects in all the three years of his graduation which he had read in senior secondary level.

Duration of Bachelor of Education. one year. But now discussion is going on in which B.ED Course duration can go up to 2 years. In which FIRST year would be of theory classes and second year would focus on practical implementation of theory. 2 years duration is not yet implemented in many colleges. |

Generally B.Ed. course is of one year at some of state like Madhya Pradesh, but in some state as well as at Union Territory it is two years course. It can be done through Regional Institute of Education (CBSE) after 10+2 combined with B.Sc. or BA within four year.
